Groundwork Book a strategy call

We run LinkedIn for six executives at a data center infrastructure client

Together they have gained over 15,000 followers and over 500,000 impressions, and multiple eight- and nine-figure deals have closed with buyers who came to trust the team.

  • 15,000+followers gained, together, by the six executives
  • 500,000+impressions, together, across the six
  • 25inbound messages a day across the six, on average
  • Multipleeight- and nine-figure deals closed with buyers who came to trust the team

What the daily work looks like

Tall stack of closed books on a wooden table against a plain pale wall

Each of the six has a named person at Groundwork who posts, comments, and reaches out in that executive's voice every business day. The posts start from a voice interview and go to the executive for approval before they go out.

We also handle the inbox, so a real message from a buyer reaches the executive within one business day instead of sitting under vendor pitches. Every action goes into a log the client can open any time.

These numbers belong to one client and its six executives. We can't promise the same for your firm, because your market decides who calls.

Eight things you can check on every account

The result above sits on a record anyone can read, and these are the things careful buyers ask to see before a first call.

  • The action log

One line for every comment, connection, message, and post, so even the work that doesn't need approval is on record.

  • The approval log

Each post shows who drafted it, who approved it or whether it went out after 48 hours, and the date and time.

  • The monthly report

What was delivered, what was missed, and what happened in the inbox, reviewed with you for 30 minutes.

  • A plain definition of delivered

A post counts when it is published, not when it is scheduled.

  • Misses beside completed work

We report a miss in the same report as the work that was done. You do not have to find it.

  • Compliance holds are not misses

If your compliance team holds an item, it is logged as a hold. It never counts against the work, and we never rush the review.

  • A free month if we miss

If we miss the agreed work for an executive in a month, that month is free for that executive.

  • Drafts that are yours

If you cancel, the drafts and anything published under your leader's name belong to you.

What counts as delivered

The agreed work is counted the same way every month.

Part of the workCounts when
PostIt is published on LinkedIn, with the draft and approval recorded
CommentIt is posted on a buyer's, partner's, or peer's post and logged
Connection requestIt is sent to a person on the agreed list and logged
InboxA real opportunity reaches you within one business day of arriving
Report and reviewThe monthly report is sent and the 30-minute review is held

Items held for your compliance review are logged as holds and do not count as misses.

A miss costs us the month

We do the work or you do not pay. If we miss the agreed work for any executive in any month, that month is free for that executive.

We report the miss ourselves, so you don't have to notice it or ask.

  • Measured per executive, per month
  • Reported in the monthly report, next to completed work
  • Items held for compliance review are not misses
  • If an executive does not feel the posts sound like them after 30 days, they cancel and pay nothing for that month

What the record can and can't tell you

What the record shows

  • The work happened, with a date and a name on each item
  • Who was commented on, connected with, and messaged
  • How many real opportunities reached your desk, and when

What the record cannot show

  • That a buying committee moved because of a comment
  • Which conversation became a meeting, unless your team tags it
  • Anything about outcomes your market controls

How to check us against your own calendar

The log covers what we did, and your team's own records cover the rest.

  • Ask new contacts how they first heard of your leaders
  • Tag any meeting where someone mentions seeing your leaders on LinkedIn
  • Compare the log with your calendar at the 30-minute review
  • At day 90, read the log together and decide whether to continue

Ask to see the log before you decide

On the strategy call we walk through how the action log, the approval log, and the monthly report are laid out.
